Create a Project & Manage Access

Creating a project

Here is a quick reminder on how to create your first project in ftrack Review.

By default, ftrack Review will launch the Project page, showing you all of your available projects. If you don’t have a project yet, you’ll need to create one by clicking the '+ Create Project' button in the top right corner.

Enter the Name of your project. (You can edit the name later, so don’t worry if you’re unsure what to name your project at this stage.)

Private access can be toggled ‘On’ if you don’t want all your team members to be able to access the project.

You will then be taken to the home page of your new project, which is where you can create new Reviews. There you can also access the projects 'Activity' and 'Settings' feeds via the menu on the left-hand side.

'Activity' will show you everything that has happened in the project and gives you an access point to your project 'Library', and your most recently accessed Reviews.

The 'Settings' page gives you access to some project statistics, enables you to manage the public/private settings, and team members access to private projects, using the ‘Team Members’ section.

Manage team member access

You can manage access for your team members by clicking ‘Manage team’ button.

A project can either be private to a select number of users or have private access turned off so that everyone in your workspace can access it.
