Frequently Asked Questions on ftrack Review

What is ftrack Review?

ftrack Review is a collaborative cloud-based application that helps content creators efficiently communicate with clients on a project via a web browser. Media is securely uploaded to the cloud for a Review session. Clients then join a Review session via a unique URL. They can provide feedback by annotating directly on the media and writing comments which are pinned to the frame and timecode on which they’re made to keep communication in context. Say goodbye to endless email threads. All feedback is provided entirely inside the ftrack Review. As all comments are in context, communication is efficient, and confusion or misunderstanding is eliminated.

What does each workspace contain?

  • Unlimited projects

  • Unlimited reviews

  • Unlimited collaborators

  • 250 GB of cloud storage

What is a ‘collaborator’?

A collaborator is anyone who must view a Review. So this can be a client who only has access to join a specific Review to provide feedback. Collaborators can add comments and annotate media in Review sessions that have been shared with them. An unlimited number of collaborators can be added to a Review session for free.
